Lynnwood Brewing Concern Opening Restaurant Next to Five Points Brewery From WRAL and 919 Beer... “You can already get a Lynnwood Brewing Concern beer with a bite to eat at Lynnwood Grill in north Raleigh, but the company plans to add that option next to its second location, too.The production brewery on East Whitaker Mill Road is mostly served by food trucks now, brewmaster Bill Gerds told the 919 Beer Podcast. But a small building across the parking lot will soon be turned into a spot called Wilson’s that will serve Lynnwood’s own bites.”I’m not sure on the menu; we’re still working on that,” Gerd said. “Some flatbread pizzas and sandwiches and whatever else. We’re going to put another bar over there serving our beer, as well.”Then that opens up the whole beer garden, so we have that whole space now.”The opening of Wilson’s will eliminate the need for food trucks, Gerd said, but it will it will let people walk from place to place with a beer in hand.Gerd said they plan to have the restaurant open in the late summer or early fall. ...” — Evan Matsumoto - WRAL Brent WoodcoxFebruary 26, 2018 0 Likes
